So, i now am officially an old fart...seriously....
I went to a wedding with ym colelge buddies this weekend and was totally slammed today...i had the worst hangover since college...here is how, at this wedding, i realized i am totally old.
1. One shot of tequila totalyl anialated me....in college i used to play "tequila pong"...last night i had one shot and i was trashed. I had the world's worst hangover this mornig - i really hought i was going to die on the drive home
2. I stayed up until 2 oclock a.m. last night...it was possibly the first time in over a year that i have stayed up this late...
3. I found myself looking at some girls dresses and commenting that htey were totally scandalous and trashy......
4. I choose to wear my 1/2 inch kitten heels versus the nicer looking 3 inch heels i own becuase my feet hurt...,nevermind that the shoes totalyl didnt match
So, Im off to take my geritol and go to bed....at 9 oclock pm...grrrr

religion and gigalos
2 thoughts of randomness today
1. As you may all know, we are in a recession (see previous blog). While discussing this with my dear and lovely husband while out to dinner the other night (see previous blog), he told me not to worry - he has a plan.....if he losses his job, he states he will just become a male gigalo....yes that is seriously his plan...yes, he is a charmer, isnt he?
2. Some of you crazy catholics probaly dont know this nor do you really give a shit, but when the bishop of the united states was elected for the episcopal church, several large parishes in the united states (mostly red states) decided to "leave" from the angligan community basically because theyare assholes...they had previously been pissed off because a gay clergy was elected to head the new hamshire diocese and when a female bishop to lead the entire united states was elected, well, they got even crankier.......well, now they have formed their "own" denomination call the orthodox anglican church......as a liberal episcopalian who supports gay clergy,as well as female clergy (as you may remember, it was my dream to be marreid by a lesbian female----we settled for father john becuase he was married to a female preist :) ), I would like to say to that denomination "good riddance, Im glad we got rid of the dead weight." Now, i know you are saying "that isnt very 'christian' of you thais"....whatever---its not very "christian" to say some one can not be a spiritual leader becuase of their gender or sexual preference....the catholics only let unmarried "straight" men become priests, and look how far that has got them! DOnt these orthodox anglican realize that our church was founded because that horn dog henry the 8th wanted a freakin' divorce so he could screw around?!
So, i wish the orthodox anglicans "good luck" with their new religion and i will continue to be a happy pagan/liberal episcopalian with the powerful females and the gay bishops....
